Fossils & Dino's
Fossils are believed to increase life span, reduce toxins, anxiety, stress, balance emotions, and make one more confident. Containing supernatural and physical healing powers. They promote a sense of pride and success in business. Healers use fossils to enhance telepathy and stimulate the mind.
Revered by many cultures for centuries, fossils, because of their age, are often used as talismans for protection and long life. They are links to the past and, as such, can be helpful for past-life visualization, astral travel and increased knowledge of ancient ways. In addition, fossils are associated with the earth element, heightening your intuition, especially when learning about crystals.
The types you will find in this section:
Goniatites were an early form of curved cephalopod or ammonite. These beautiful fossils have been polished to reveal the chambers, called camera, and the divisions between the chambers called septa.
Petrified Wood (Tumbled and Raw) is a fossil. It forms when plant material is buried by sediment and protected from decay due to oxygen and organisms. Then, groundwater rich in dissolved solids flows through the sediment, replacing the original plant material with silica, calcite, pyrite, or another inorganic material such as opal. The result is a fossil of the original woody material that often exhibits preserved details of the bark, wood, and cellular structures
Shark Tooth -A tooth becomes a fossil when it is buried in sediment (or other material) soon after being lost from a shark's mouth. The sediment precludes oxygen and harmful bacteria from reaching the tooth and destroying it. The general fossilization process varies greatly depending on the exact situation. It takes approximately 10,000 years for a tooth to become a true fossil.
Trilobites are extinct marine arthropods that form the class Trilobita. Trilobites form one of the earliest known groups of arthropods
Turritella Agate is a chalcedony variety that is a part of the Quartz family. It has a rich, earthy black or brown colour, and it can be easily recognized by the fossilized snail and sea creature patterns in the stone
Othoceras also known as Orthoceratites, is a genus of extinct nautiloid cephalopod. Its name is derived from the words “straight horn,” referring to its long, conical shell.
Types of Fossils in the Mix:
Brachiopods are a species of small marine shellfish, sometimes called lampshells. They are not common today, but in the Paleozoic, they were one of the most common types.
Branch Coral fossils are generally small and are covered by tiny holes (calices) in which the actual coral animals (polyps) lived.
Clam fossils are beautiful, organic creatures from ancient Earth dating back more than 150 million years ago.
Crinoids are marine animals and are widespread fossils and can be found in many places worldwide. Most often, what is seen are fragments of the stem.
Gastropods commonly known as snails and slugs belong to a large taxonomic class of invertebrates within the phylum Mollusca.
